The Kansas City Star ran its feature on Niall by Rustin Dodd in one of the city’s most iconic issues in decades. The piece ran in the paper’s November 2nd issue, the same issue marking the Royals first World Series title since 1985.
In the feature, which also ran in Ink Magazine, Dodd documents the company’s big break – gifting a Niall timepiece to Royals manager Ned Yost.
“Niall found allies in Chiefs linebacker Tamba Hali, Royals Hall of Famer George Brett and the aforementioned [Jack] Sock, a standout tennis player and graduate of Blue Valley North,” Dodd wrote. “But the biggest bump came from when Wilson was able to land a one-on-one audience in Yost’s office in late August.”
We are honored to receive a placement in such an important piece of the city’s history. Pick up a physical copy of the Star or read online here.
